WORKTOPS

We offer a full end to end service to our worktop customers – we understand that this may not be something you do every day and that there is ALOT of choice! Firstly, we take the time to understand the best material to suit your home and lifestyle. Whether it be quartz, natural stone or porcelain we are experts in helping you make a decision. From there we can arrange for you to view samples or even full slabs at our wholesalers. Once you have chosen your slabs, our expert team of templaters will accurately measure your kitchen. The stone is then manufactured and cut to fit your bespoke requirements, finally we install the worktops. We will also furnish you with a guide on how best to maintain and care for your new worktops.

MARBLE WORKTOPS

Elegant, timeless and full of natural character, marble is a design statement. Best for style‑led kitchens, islands and baking zones where its cool surface excels.

Popular colours & looks:

  • Carrara / Bianco Carrara — soft grey veining on white
  • Calacatta (varieties) — bolder, dramatic veining with warmer undertones
  • Arabescato — busy, swirling grey patterns
  • Statuario — clean white with defined grey veining
  • Nero Marquina — black marble with crisp white veining

Durability & care:

  • Hardness: Medium (softer than granite/quartz). Can scratch with abrasive use.
  • Acids & etching: Lemon, vinegar and wine can etch a honed/polished surface. Wipe spills promptly.
  • Staining: Low–medium risk; seal on install and re‑seal periodically.
  • Heat: Good heat tolerance, but always use trivets.

Finish options: Polished (gloss), Honed (matt, disguises etching), Leathered (subtle texture on some marbles).

Best for: Showpiece islands, baking enthusiasts, classic and luxury interiors.

Consider if you want: Natural patina that develops character over time.
